Who we are

Faith foundation works with the philosophy to promote healthy lifestyle away from addiction and addictive behaviors for more than 18 years now. The organization works at micro and macro level in community as well as influencing policy decisions at state and the national level. Amongst the various projects and initiatives, the organization works on De-addiction Rehabilitation, Tobacco control, Care & Support for PLHIV (People Living with HIV/AIDS), Quality Education for urban slum children, Life Skill Development for Adolescent projects, as part of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Halfway home for specially Challenged people(Hope Village).

The organization has been instrumental in Tobacco Control in the state by launching the Yellow Line Campaign (YLC) in all the 33 Districts of the state of Gujarat along with State Tobacco Control Cell(STCC) & District Tobacco Control Cell, Health Department, Govt. of Gujarat, striving for stricter implementation of COTPA 2003. The organization trains about 3000 students every year on healthy lifestyle and inspires them to live Addiction Free Lifestyle. Faith Foundation has been instrumental in the ban on Hookah Bars, E-Cigarettes. The organization had collected 5,000 signatures from various schools to support the Ban of E-cigarettes Bill. The organization in collaboration with various government departments namely the Education Dept, Police Dept, Food & Drug, Information Bureau, District Legal Service Authority etc. at the district level initiated unique campaigns like the Tobacco/Smoke free Village/Panchayat, Tobacco Free Educational Institute (ToFEI), Tobacco Free Tourist Places, Tobacco Free Bus Depot & Tobacco Free Workplaces etc. Under the Smoke Free Village campaign 229 villages have been declared as a smoke free villages as of last year. The organization has been instrumental in during the COVID 19 response, Faith Foundation in collaboration with an industries distributed 9,000 snack packets along with masks, soaps, sanitizers & sanitary pads to the migrants travelling in Shramik Special Trains starting from Vadodara Junction to UP and Bihar. The Hope Village Project provided RATION KIT along with the mask & sanitizers to the specially challenged children and their families.

Ride for Tobacco Free Generation (#Ride4TFG) from Sabarmati Ashram, Ahmedabad to Dandi, Navsari on the occasion of World Cancer Day with objective of ToFEI, Smoke Free Village, to create awareness, to create tobacco free generation by 2030, to support COTPA 2003 amendment bill 2020. Staff & Volunteers of the organization conducted a cycle rally in collaboration with NYKS, Ministry of Youth of Affairs & Sports, DTCCs of 7 districts.

The organization has been working in close affiliation with the Ministry of Health and organization namely WHO, The UNION, UNODC, VHAI, HRIDAY, NYKS etc. Rehabilitation Centre is widely recognized as one of the most effective inpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers in Vadodara, Gujarat. We offer treatments and holistic healing to create a unique recovery experience for individuals struggling with alcohol, drug and other addictive behaviors. The organization provides legal aid in civil and criminal matters for marginalized people who cannot afford the services of a lawyer in any court, Tribunal. Awarded as best NGO by NYKS ( Nehru Yuva Kendra Sanghanthan ) Ministry of Youth Affair and sports GOI and Arogya Bharti , Gujarat for exemplary work in Tobacco Control especially E-Cigarette Ban in 2020. Also Awarded by Arogya Bharti, Gujarat Prant for our contribution in COVID 19 activities in the year of 2021.
